Runcorn Heights State School is situated on 5.8 hectares of land and 700 students are enrolled in the school. There are three ovals with three adventure playgrounds which allow students to extend their physical skills and build their strength as they move through the year levels. On these ovals we also have a cricket pitch and cricket net, grassed netball court and a multipurpose tennis and basketball court adjacent to the junior oval and new multipurpose hall.
Other buildings on site include: 30 teaching spaces, multipurpose hall, new learning resource centre, activity hall with an out of school hours care program, Special Education Unit and English as a Second Language Unit and an Administration building.
