As per the Director General of Education's advice, Mr Tony Cook, parent access to
school from tomorrow will be restricted – and only allowed with appointments or prior
approval.
PARENTS/CAREGIVERS ARE NOT TO ENTER THE SCHOOL SITE WITHOUT
PRIOR PERMISSION.
PLEASE CONTACT THE SCHOOL OFFICE VIA PHONE TO REQUEST SCHOOL
PERMISSION TO COME ONSITE.
The Stop Drop and Go Zone will continue to operate as usual before and after school.
To keep this area flowing, please do not exit your car while dropping off or collecting
your child.
BEFORE SCHOOL
Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 students must all enter the school through the Stop, Drop and
Go gates from 8am. Prep students will be met at the gates by their class Teacher Aide
and taken to the hall for supervision. Prep Parents – please do not exit your car.
Teacher Aides will come to your car to collect your child.
Year 1 and 2 students will be directed to the Tuckshop Undercover area as per usual. A
Teacher Aide will be on duty directing parents to this area and supervising.
Years 3 – 6 students may enter through any of our school gates and move to the
Undercover Area as usual.
AFTER SCHOOL
Prep and Year 1 students to be collected by parents from the Junior Oval from 2:25pm.
Collected via entry from the lower oval gate only to this oval.
Older siblings in Years 2 – 6 will be directed to the oval to meet families at 2:30pm.
If students in Year 1 need to be collected from Stop, Drop and Go, they will be directed
there from 2:30pm.
Jabiru OSHC and Avenues Daycare will collect Prep and Year 1 students from the
Junior Oval at 2:30pm.
All other gates will be open for older students to exit from at 2:30pm.
Please
remember – no parents onsite unless picking students up from the Junior Oval with
entry via these gates only.
Please ensure you are adhering to the strict social distancing guidelines outlined by the Chief Medical Officer and wearing a mask during Drop Off and Pick Up times.
