What to expect
Before school care: We serve breakfast until 8am. Mornings are fairly relaxed, with a range of activities to choose from.
After school care: Children enjoy afternoon tea from our menu. They choose from a program of activities or use a wide range of toys, games, craft materials or sports equipment. Around 5pmJabiru serves a light late snack to tide children over until dinner.
Vacation care: Jabiru holidays are heaps of fun. Jabiru publishes the holiday program before each holiday break so parents can avoid the vacation juggle and know their children will be well cared for.
Prep children
Prep children can start with Jabiru from the January of the year they are starting school. Once school starts, Jabiru staff walk preppies to their classrooms before school and pick them up after school to help ease them in to school life.
All Jabiru staff meet qualification and training requirements set out in the National Quality Framework and all have Positive Notice Blue Cards.
Jabiru is known for the quality and variety of food offered to children. Jabiru works within nutrition guidelines including Education Queensland’s Smart Choices.
Jabiru’s activity programs are designed based on many years of experience, national guidelines and Jabiru’s unique ‘Communities for Kids’ practice guidelines. There will always be a mixture of physical activity, arts and crafts, science, imaginary play, games and learning activities on offer.
