Each year since 1945 the Children’s Book Council of Australia has brought children and books together across Australia through CBCA Book Week. We will be organising a Book Week Dress Up Day on Thursday 24 August 2023.
This year’s theme is Read, Grow, Inspire. Students will engage in activities and listen to stories relating to the theme to highlight the importance of reading.
We are encouraging all students to come to school next Thursday 24 August dressed as their favourite book character. They will have the opportunity to share their costume during a parade, on the oval starting at 8:45am.
Parents and carers ar encouraged to attend and dress up for a chance to win a prize!
