Our Year 6 students have begun their leadership role of being a 'Playground Buddy'. All Year 6 students were offered to take on the role of volunteering as a buddy in the Prep and Year 1/2 playgrounds at lunchtime. The role of a Playground Buddy is to assist in the junior play areas by playing small games with the students and to help students in the playground. All Year 6 students have made the commitment to attend meetings and training sessions and it has been wonderful to see the students interacting together at lunchtime.
